Amoxicillin-Clavulanate • 875 mg • 28 tablets

Amoxicillin-Clavulanate, also known as Augmentin, is a combination antibiotic used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections. This medication combines amoxicillin, a penicillin-type antibiotic, with clavulanate, a beta-lactamase inhibitor, which helps prevent certain bacteria from becoming resistant to amoxicillin. It is commonly prescribed for conditions such as animal bites, pneumonia, otitis media (ear infections), sinusitis, urinary tract infections, and skin and soft tissue infections.

Azithromycin • 250 mg • 6 tablets

Azithromycin is an antibiotic used to treat a range of bacterial infections, including respiratory infections like pneumonia, throat infections like strep pharyngitis, and ear infections. It is a suitable alternative for individuals allergic to penicillin and is often prescribed for a shorter duration due to its prolonged action in the body.

Ciprofloxacin ophthalmic • 0.3% (5 mL) • 1 ophthalmic solution

Ciprofloxacin ophthalmic is an antibiotic eye drop used to treat bacterial conjunctivitis (pink eye). It can also be used to prevent infections after a corneal abrasion and to treat outer ear infections (otitis externa) when other treatments are not available.  For individuals who wear contact lenses, ciprofloxacin drops can be used to manage eye infections, but they should not be administered while wearing the lenses.

Doxycycline hyclate • 100 mg • 20 tablets

Doxycycline, a tetracycline antibiotic, is used to treat various infections including respiratory tract infections, Lyme disease, and other tick-borne illnesses. It is also effective against conditions like sinusitis and skin and soft tissue infections. To minimize stomach upset, it is recommended to take doxycycline with food.

Metronidazole • 500 mg • 30 tablets

Metronidazole, known by the brand name Flagyl, is an antibiotic and antiprotozoal medication used to treat several types of infections. It is particularly effective for treating bacterial vaginosis, gastrointestinal infections, and skin infections. It also addresses giardiasis (giardia), which is commonly acquired through drinking contaminated water.

Ondansetron • 4 mg • 20 tablets

Ondansetron, the generic version of Zofran, is used to prevent nausea and vomiting. This medication works to alleviate nausea by targeting specific receptors in the brain. This medication is effective for managing nausea and vomiting resulting from both minor issues like food poisoning and more serious conditions.

PredniSONE • 20 mg • 20 tablets

Prednisone is a corticosteroid widely utilized to treat inflammation. It is commonly used to treat asthma, managing airway inflammation during asthma attacks. It is also used to treat severe allergic reactions, such as anaphylaxis when combined with epinephrine. Prednisone is often paired with albuterol, which provides rapid symptom relief, while prednisone takes several hours to work. Taking prednisone with food is advised to minimize stomach upset.

Triamcinolone • 0.1% • 1 cream

Triamcinolone is a potent corticosteroid cream used to relieve skin inflammation and itching. It is effective for treating conditions like eczema, rashes, and bites and stings. This cream is not suitable for treating infected skin and should be used only as prescribed.

Loperamide pack • 2 mg • 12 tablets

Loperamide, commonly known as Imodium, is an anti-diarrheal medication used to treat acute diarrhea. It works by slowing intestinal movement, which helps reduce the frequency and urgency of bowel movements, making it particularly effective for diarrhea caused by infections.

Hydrocortisone 2.5% is a low potency topical steroid. For optimal absorption of this medication, apply topical steroids to moist skin immediately after bathing or a wet soak. Occlusive dressings (bandage covering the area) can enhance drug absorption up to 10 times, so speak with a medical professional before using any dressings on top of this medication. Do not use it on open skin, avoid contact with eyes and wash hands after use.
